Enjoy your test drive. I know you will. Which Macan model are you test driving?

As has been said, there is no harm in paying the £3k deposit, as you are free to pull out and get a full refund any time before the final lock down of your spec.

If you're getting a car next May it will be the new one since the current gen won't be manufactured at that time. New Macan will come early next year. Press pack with info some weeks before Geneva.

It will probably be a rather bland introduction just like the Cayenne last week. No surprises and no innovations and soooooo predictable. Porsche completely lost it in my view and the only cars that give me the slight interest from Porsche right now is 911 GTS and GT(x).

This forum seems to have collapsed completely btw?

Put your money down and wait and you will get the updated version which doesn't sound like it will be too different anyway.

Haha, yes, maybe a bit :lol:

Haven't been logging in here for a while and just thought it was rather low activity in each sub forum compared to how I remembered it before. Might be the new format that confuses me a bit though.

The activity may indeed have dropped off a bit, but there are still plenty of us diehard Porsche enthusiasts posting regularly... :)

The Drive is reporting....

Porsche Cars North America saw a bit of an overall sales slump, not outpacing 2016s sales for the first time this year. This isn't really anything to be concerned about this month, as imports of 2018 model year Macan SUVs are just beginning
