I'm not sure you can retrofit the compass without having the entire dash changed and that would be silly money. Agree that the button is really inconvenient

Can the compass be retro-fitted!? I have a feeling not. If it can, it would be a big job and pricey, which is why retro-fitting SC does not give you the dash mounted stop watch.
Changing modes is SO much easier and better with the steering wheel-mounted selector.

Totally agree with Kasfranks99 about the audi sports mode on the PDK.
Had three audi DSG's and it was a simple movement from drive to sport and you were away WITHOUT LOOKING.
Its much easier on the steering wheel , but if you do happen to test drive a Porsche with steering wheel mounted Sports Crono don't press the button as all hell breaks loose
