I just enjoyed a satisfying cross country dash on some Wiltshire roads in the Panamera in Sport Plus mode. Huge fun, put a grin on my face and genuinely makes the big executive saloon feel very sporty and nimble! Vroom! :D :D :D

I was on the way home from Belfast on Friday (in the 718S) and as traffic was being the usual PITA with the RH lane being hogged by people doing 20 mph less than they should be doing, so I peeled off and went cross country from Loughbrickland to Rathfriland and then on home via Rostrevor (for anyone who knows the area).

I got really lucky with traffic - almost nobody else on the twisty undulating road. The only time I came on traffic was on a section with straights and I was able to blast past in perfect safety. Wow, what a car! The balance is sublime, grip is endless and with the roof off and Sport mode engaged, this was a delightful commute. Beautiful sunny day, a Porsche in full flight, good tunes playing and dinner booked for 7.00. Bliss!

That’s the sort of drive that makes me envious living in London. Sounds perfect.

I spec'd SC on our GTS due at the end of the month. Having test driven cars with and without it I definitely would recommend.

Am I one of the minority that actually likes the clocking the dashboard as IMO it breaks up the dashboard and looks nice :)

Great to hear of another Carmine Red Porsche arriving soon!

Any update on the GT3? Final colour choice and likely delivery date?

(Saw several at Castle Combe today and fell in love with a yellow one!)

Word on the grapevine is that 2018 build slots will be released in November and at this point OPC's will be able to tell those waiting if and when they will be getting their GT3.

Looks like PTS will not be available for UK cars so I will probably go Racing Yellow with Satin Aluminium wheels or if I feel brave on the lock down day Lava Orange with Platinum wheels :)

I'll add pictures of the Macan GTS when I am there to collect it
