Unless Mayfair just had a cancelled GTS slot... 🤔
My budget for the GTS was blown by my wife on a new kitchen/house remodel so need to save my pennies again sadly

As long as it is red :D

Well, if you're gonna have a sports car/saloon, it may as well be red!! ;) 8-)
Quite right. My youngest son has ordered a 991.2 as there are too many yummy mummies driving Macans around here! At the momement it’s touch and go between GT Silver and Carmine Red. I am pushing Carmine Red. Delivery could be as early as Feb 2018, so I’ve got time to work on it

BUT

GT Silver is a really classic colour for a 911. That being said I much prefer Carmine Red to Guards Red and think it would look great on a 911

Agreed! My first two Porsches were silver, my third one is Carmine Red. :)

I think there's a reason that Porsche publicise their GTS models (like today's 718s) in Carmine Red! 😎

When I do eventually get around to my 911 GTS it will be in either GT Silver or Carmine red (but not if I have to pay £1,600 for the red and remember GT Silver used to be an addition cost)

To be fair, Guards Red is a classic and historic colour for Porsche too. ;)

Vanb

+1 for GT Silver, and by the way I'm moving to a new build house so its mega bucks and no discount offers (flooring alarm etc :( )

Might have to cut back a little on the 991.2 options or eats Beans on Toast.

Its a strange world we live in £5K deposit on a 911 and £500 on a new house !!

Spook

We live in a mad world but the deposit on the house goes up when you exchange so not quite the same. I think that we on the forum are very privileged to be able to buy cars that cost the same as a house in some parts of the country.
