Sorry this is not going to be a popular post for some

For various reasons, I have decided to go with the Feb build 991.2 GT3. Will be good to have a sports car for the spring.

Semi-locked spec is http://www.porsche-code.com/PJM89859.
Current Porsches: 991.2 GT3 RS
Previous Porsches: Macan x4 (one of each), Panamera x2, 996x2, 997x2, Cayenne S, Boxster S, Cayman S x2, Boxster Spyder, 991.1 Turbo S, 991.2 GT3 (manual), 718 Cayman GTS (PDK)
Others: way too many...

Bird in the hand and all that? My Cayman was in agate and thought it looked lovely.

Plan is for Merc to be gone by March. My car should finally be arriving in two weeks so will at least have it for 3 months.

You are making many of us very jealous indeed, Virage! ;)

Agate Grey will be a very understated and 'classy' looking GT3. Personally with a darkish colour like Agate, I'd stick with the standard silvery GT3 wheels, rather than going black.

Even with no options at all, this would be a truly awesome car, and incredible value at 'only' Β£111,802! :)

Your GT3 will be a contrast I expect to the majority, that I suspect may be red, white, yellow or Miami etc. 😎

As said, bird in the hand and all that.

Probably the best decision.

Have to disagree Wingco - in the pics the black wheels make the car look much lower and squatter....but then, not my decision either😊

With Β£112k burning a hole in my pocket, and more importantly, a much sought after build slot, I'd happily 'make do' with a 'bog standard' GT3 in classic Guards Red with the 6-speed manual gearbox. ;)

I nearly went guards but have been forever tainted when I couldn't sell my Turbo S easily because it was guards (not grey, white or black!) - different cars I know. Also Miami - but decided the standard red calipers looked funny with a bright blue paint and black wheels and don't want ceramics on this one.

I also have to disagree WingCo! Black wheels more menacing!!
