Yes McN, thats mine, it was indeed a special car but just wanted an out and out sports car. I drove their demo for the weekend and loved it, so just hope I havent made a mistake. As an all round car the GTS Macan is unequalled. Glad to hear your enjoyoing yours, but not surprised.

Thanks for all the replies with regards to March / April build information on this thread
I know in my case I was concerned over my 911 build slot but Porsche would have released all models inc Macans around the same time so i hope this thread was also useful to you future Macan owners that are waiting.
I was concerned incase my SE was on vacation when they were released or the OPC were going to be slow of the mark in contacting me.
However everything was ok and I was advised in a timely manner.

Good to see lots of 911's being bought by Macan owners. For me they are the perfect combination giving 2 different packages, but both extremely enjoyable to drive and own.
My car is arriving at my OPC in February (Build completes on 24th January) and will go on the road 1st March after it has visited Reep Group to get the front end and sides fitted with PPF film and then Gtechniq ceramic coating on the rest of the car and finally the Sharkwerks Bypass and new 100mm tail pipes fitted
I am at the factory on Friday 9th February so will just miss it being built, but looking forward to seeing plenty of GT and T cars on the production line.

Hi Martin,
Do you know what PPF film are you having applied ?
When we had our Macan G Techniq CS blacked our accredited detailer suggested also using SUNTEK, however he could see the film for a Macan but because we were having the full SD body Kit that was not currently available for the front.
I saw a white 911 in the Nottingham showroom a couple of weeks ago which was about 3 to 4 years old and it looked as good as new, and you really had to look hard to see the edges of the film.
I'm also having my 911 Gtechniq CS blacked again (Crystal Serum with EXO on top) prior to delivery ( fingers crossed anyway).
Enjoy your factory visit !!

Our Macan GTS had the Llumar PPF film fitted which is superb and comes with a 10 year warranty. I am getting the same film applied to the GT3 (Bonnet, Wings, Front Bumper, Wing Mirrors, A Pillars and Roof Edge, Sides below the Doors and up the Rear Arches) and the new Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra applied (it has replaced the Black) with EXO on top and also the wheels , calipers, glass and interior done as well (same as the Macan)
It's a flying visit to the Factory this time, arriving on the Thursday and home on the Saturday evening. A few beers and food with a mate who hasn't been to the factory before. I've been about 5 or 6 times now and it keeps changing after every visit

Martin, I love the look of your GT3 configuration with the Touring Pack. Very subtle and classy. Not jealous at all!

Agree with Wing Co. looks great Martin and the closest thing you can get to a 911R currently for a reasonable amount of money.
That will be an awesome drive and will more than hold its value imo.
Exciting few months coming up for a few

Hi Martin,
Going to have to read up on the new "ultra". I have sent my detailer a text to advise I would like his services again but haven't got into any details or price yet.
Thanks for the heads up, its good to chat

Thanks Wing Co. I was considering going for a bright colour if PTS had been available (Voodoo Blue or Gelbgrun) and probably the winged version, but the UK market is not getting PTS.
As I'm no longer a youngster I felt that the more discreet and 'under the radar' look of the Touring version would be a better choice for me
