Macandrivers post is spot on the only time you look at the outside is before you drive it. The really important point is to specify options that are of benefit when using the vehicle and how you choose to use it. As for colour choice the only real criticism of Porsche that I have is of their colour palette it is very poor compared to other prestige makes.

Agree with some of the above - especially as it’s on C-hire and the residual is not an issue,
Spec what you fancy and will enjoy using......

Mmm, more torture then...

Black’s out as current Cayenne is black as was Evoque before that. White and silver out as wife doesn’t like. Grey’s are out as my two friends both have on their Macan’s. Palladium’s out for me. Sapphire would have been our choice colour and saw a GTS customer ready one in the showroom which looked awesome but we have an S3 in Sprint Blue already. Hence Night Blue which I think looks great. I flip flopped with the monochrome vs alu and the standard 911s.

I think the Hitachi quote system is definitely wrong and the £4K (seriously!) turbo pack is not happening. The 911s push the budget over so would have to spec the Spyders and ditch the LEDs, logo head restraints and comfort lights :(. Heated seats and steering wheel are must haves however.

Or....

I could go back to the GTS and spec the 911s AND the rhodium alcantara, leather dash with the LEDs and comfort lights. Less happy about the GTS front end but like the rest. Really wanted the extra 80 brake though.

Spare wheel not an issue for me and happy not to carry the weight.

No vanity lights though. I’d have to use my iPhone! Someone also mentioned you needed to spec the auto wipers - surely not!

Thanks for all your advice - much appreciated as now expecting a call from the dealer next week to commit the final spec.

Given your comments, Hotblack67, I'd go for the Turbo PP, even if it means forsaking the 21" 911 Turbos. ;)

Sounds like you're keen on the extra bhp. And you prefer the look of the front of the Turbo PP. I agree with heated seats, and especially heated steering wheel. LEDs are epic, but Bi-Xenons are fine.

I think you're getting more car for your monthly budget with the Turbo PP, compared to a GTS with more 'toys'. :ugeek:

Sorry, my mistake said the Dalek climbing off the dustbin!

I’m sure I had to spec them on my GTS and definitely had to in the 911 😳

All Macans now have the rain sensor as standard. :ugeek:

Shocking that it's not included on a £100k+ 911 GTS!
