I have not seen a thread on paint to sample Macans so thought I'd start one. It'll be helpful if anyone is configuring a car and fancies the idea of PTS.

To kick things off, this is Grigio Telesto, a metallic paint to sample and Lamborghini Colour. Looks quite flat in the photographs but likely the treatment. Not a Lamborghini fan but saw it recently and it's PTS so thought why not share it.

Very nice colour. Is that similar to your grey/black colour?

Not sure if PTS is currently available as an option on a new Macan order?

Saw one on here recently in a nice blue - I think it was Mexico or Riviera... :)

I know the Macan colour range is pretty poor but would I pay £5000 for a "special colour" ..........probably not

I possibly would on a special 911 (if PTS happens to be available) but I wouldn't on a "normal" model like a Macan or Cayman unless I fundamentally disliked all standard colours (which I don't) and/or the car was going to be forever...else seems like a rather large % proportion of the total cost.

£2,800 was bad enough for Carmine Red paint on my Panamera 4!

Racing Yellow on my 991.2 Carrera T at £0 is much better value for money! 8-)

Are you sure you're not being paid £2,800 to take one in racing yellow

At least you won't be missed in it ;)

To be fair I like the yellow just not for me. I am very happy with my rather mundane but nevertheless classy choice of GT Silver.

I definitely agree that GT Silver is classy. :)

I just fancied something a bit 'different' from the generally monochrome shades that most 911s are painted in. ;)

And I've been inspired by seeing a yellow 991.1 GTS Targa in the metal, along with the more recent admiration of the yellow GT4 at Tewkesbury. :D

I’m too shy and reserved to drive around in anything bling but I like yellow, Miami blue and Lava Orange as well the acid green with a German name. I think these cats look really good in bright colours but as the general public already think you’re a bellend for driving a 911 I don’t want to exacerbate it by driving an “in your face” 911!
