I was in my local OPC today Wingco and they were of the view that a Carrera T lightly optioned to late £80k’s early £90k’s was likely to be a great purchase. Their only hesitation to fully recommend it as a ‘family’ car was that with some of the sound deadening removed, they didn’t know how intrusive the noise might be. Not so much of an issue for you I suspect as hopefully that’s part of the appeal! They had a Turbo S Exclusive being prepped for delivery which was very nice.

Yes, looking for a more 'raw' experience than my Panamera, and the reduced sound-proofing is, as you say, quite a positive! As is the manual transmission! And the PSE!

Interestingly, I just read a Carrera T review on the way home and Andrew Frankel’s view was that the Carrera T was no louder than the Carrera S he drove on the way to the test.

I didn’t put a deposit on anything. I’ve arranged for a loan of a 991 GTS to see if our son could live with the space in the back. It felt really small in there today, so not sure how that will go.

Sales exec recommended a glass roof if going to be using it regularly with small kids in the back which seemed to make good sense to make it less claustrophobic.

Found this very nice blue Macan on autogespot. Looks like Oslo Blue perhaps? Really special with the Turbo Exterior Package and Black rear badging. Probably with PP as well if I had to guess. Enjoy!

Like the blue but just think the green GTS would look a lot better if it also had a turbo exterior package and it looks like the badging is the car colour
