We bought a used Turbo and the dealer printed the complete spec sheet, including the standard features, using the car's VIN. Looks like this (PTV Plus is option code 1Y1):
When buying my used SD I asked for this and was told it could not be done. Surprising as BMW did it for my X5 I was selling. Anyway I got a copy invoice and was satisfied.
Macan SD Vocano Grey. LEDs, Pano Roof, PSE, Sports Chrono, PASM, Sports Design Mirrors, 21" Sports Classics in Black, lots of other extras.
http://www.porsche-code.com/PJ2XHAR5 for the day that this works again.

Oh really, how odd! I did not even have to push for it, just asked for full spec and got this print out. That was Reading OPC.

What is the car's VIN? Can I access it remotely?

Vehicle Identification Number. You might be able to buy a report on the car on the internet, eg autoDNA, but the information may be limited.

I would think you should be able to trust the UK OPC to give you the correct specification for the car.

I have the VIN but it only confirms things that I already know about the car. I am looking for a way to verify the options list that is added to the car especially things like PVT Plus and PDLS that is not possible to check with the naked eye.

Are you buying from an independent dealer? If you are buying from an Official Porsche Centre (OPC) then you can trust them to give you the correct details.

If you are not buying from a UK OPC, do you have one near you? Maybe they could confirm the specification from the VIN.
