Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but if not feel free to move it

There seems to me to be a fair few folk collecting 911s of different flavours over the next couple of months so I invite you all to post pictures here. I believe Nick is collecting his on Friday so hopefully the first to post and I get mine on Saturday and will post pictures at the weekend although car will still need to go to the detailer.

Look forward to seeing everyone's new 911 :D

Yes, the plan is Friday VanB, but the weather forecast is for snow all day here so if that happens the car will be staying where it is!

Mine is supposed to be leaving the Dealer tomorrow to go to Reep Group to get the PPF & Gtechniq applied then to RPM Specialist Cars (next door to Reep) to get the Sharkwerks fitted.

But with the "Beast from the East" causing road chaos I have a feeling it may be delayed a week as it's going over the A66 or A65 from Cumbria and both roads are currently closed due to snow

Martin, would be interisted to know what your paying to have the PPF? I have been ask 1k for a complete front, not sure if thats good or bad, as the guy normally does Ferraris and Lambos so knows how to charge. PM if your more comfortable with that.

Rab I enquired about PPF for my front too and was quoted a similar amount for Expel (I think) so sounds about right. Probably not going to opt for it though

That seems about right for full Front End. I would also suggest getting the side sills up to the door bottoms and into the front of the rear arches as these are prone to stone chips.

PPF is a personal choice, but having had cars done and others not done, I personally like the extra protection it gives. If the car is a long term keeper then I would definitely recommend it.

I have PPF on front and sides of my Macan. Haven't done a load of miles but there isn't a mark on the car so the film must be doing its job well.
