My logic is that GTS residuals already seem to be softening a little, a facelift is due and in the absence of a diesel, supply of GTSs will likely increase as it is described by many as the sweet spot in the range.

On the other hand, if there is a 3 month break in petrol engine production and the facelift GTS is held back until late 2019 as most people here are predicting then residuals might not soften so much in the short term?

OPC’s have really good availability on GTS cars....they’ve been allocated a lot of GTS to make up for the cancelled disesels. I don’t th8nk that translates into them being desperate to do deals as they have no new cars to sell over the summer so they won’t be desperate to sell them.

I would suggest you spec a GTS at no more than 65k to minimise depreciation.
