Hi,
New to the forum but ordered a Macan GTS yesterday, had to confirm the spec in order to secure an April delivery slot.
I wasn't really intending to buy so soon but my wife wants to downsize from an SVR range rover and the opportunity presented itself.

Any thoughts on the build spec will be appreciated, I have until tomorrow lunchtime to make any changes.
When you are not used to the Porsche options its like a minefield.
New car ordered
Welcome! You’ve gone for a very specific look so there’s no point in debating wheels / sideblades etc.
With regard to the other options you’ve ticked pretty much all the relevant boxes but with an eye on residual (if that’s important) you’re probably £2-£3K over - but you’ll love the full GTS interior
There have been a few security concern with the entry and drive, mainly because it leaves a dummy key permanently in the dash ....

Unlike BMW / Audi / JLR etc you don’t get a separate “start” button - it’s just the normal slot in the steering column with a permanent plastic key head inserted. To the casual passer-by it could look as if you gave left the key in the ignition.
PS - well done on the discount!

If you look into the car it looks as if the key is still in the ignition !!!!!!

Nice spec, but I'd ditch the Entry & Drive on security grounds. I'd ditch the roll-up blinds as you already have privacy glass. I'd ditch the Bose sound, which I don't think is worth £800. And unless your wife does a lot of mileage I'd ditch the adaptive cruise control. But I'd suggest adding Surround View, it works really well and will help to protect those lovely wheels.

Thanks for the advice.
Might agree about entry and drive, cant see the point of still having a key.
Adaptive cruise is a must as we have had it on our last few cars and used to it.
Always had the stereo upgrade so just ticked by habit, is there much difference from standard.
Good point about the blinds.
I drive a Tesla which comes with everything pretty much as standard, paying £300 for heated seats on a £60k car is alien to me.

It's subjective, but the standard audio is pretty good, and I personally couldn't justify £800 extra for the Bose.

I noticed you chose the piano black finish iso the standard aluminium. The piano black looks a bit plasticky in real life and finger print magnet. Did your SA explain that you can get dark brushed alu finish in the gts (as the only model) for free too? I’d recommend that.
