Hi, does anyone know if the new facelift models likely to be released post shutdown will include a turbo version to be released in 2018 ?
Have just put a deposit down for a turbo for a April build date, but am now wondering if it was the wrong thing to do!

Welcome.

Turbo is awesome, either std or PP version.

But I would say that wouldn’t I.

Deposit in March for an April build date. Have they asked you to lock it yet as that is when you will want confirmation and Porsche are yet to formally announce any information re timing or models.

I did ask myself the same question a few weeks ago but ultimately I decided that I wanted the car now and anyway, reports were that the facelift was merely minor cosmetic changes. So I bought the car and have had it now for four weeks. It’s fantastic !
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

I'd probably wait for the facelift now as it will be announced shortly for release later this year.

Had to lock down today, so I guess it’s a moot point now!

Whether current or facelift either way you'll love it. Had to wait 18 months for mine, now that was a pain especially as another member of my family already had there's. So just had to grin and bear it from the seat of my 911  tough but some have to do it

Just been told by the sales guy that my car should be available for pick up this month, given that the Porsche Bristol is atleast a 2.5 hour away from London where I am, is it worthwhile doing the pickup in person? Or should I just get it delivered (this is my first Porsche and actually first completely new car)
