All prices have gone from the site for Macans. I have a build slot for a new Macan S in March so I hope there are no price rises on the way!!

See ‘Porsche UK Pricing’ thread.

Prices have disappeared for all Porsche models on the GB configurator.

Thanks for that WingCo. I see I'm late to pick this up. I will be paying over my top up deposit this week, (ostensibly for the 'lock down', which seems strange). I'll post any news I glean.

Does the lock-down lock the price?

No worries, BenMacan. OPCs do vary. With my purchases, I have paid the initial deposit (£3k or £5k) upon ordering. The OPCs (three different ones) have then required no further cash until final payment upon collection. Maybe some OPCs require an interim boost to cash flow more than others?

Just the spec, as I understand it. :geek:

It doesn't necessarily even lock the spec.. eg if your wheel choice suddenly becomes unavailable and it wasn't reserved in the factory system at lock down... or, as is all too often the case, if the dealer doesn't actually f-ing tell the factory your spec!!

( so do remember to confirm with your dealer that actual spect ordered is what you told them )
Used to have 2016 Macan Turbo PHCKCL70
Previously a 2014 Macan Turbo.
Now a 2021 Tesla Model 3 LR

+1

The configurator is not linked to the factory ordering system (heaven knows why not!)
The order form created by your sales exec for you to sign, from your configurator print-out, will then be loaded (ie, a third time!) onto the factory ordering system by sales admin. But you can get a print-out of this if you ask the right person.

^^^ Seems crazy in this digital day and age that the final build of your car depends on a sales administration person accurately, manually re-typing your order into a separate system. :?

Scope for human error or what!?

I suspect the disappearance of pricing is GB increase related or Co2/WLTP issues. I know that Jan/Feb build 2019 cars are all embargoed until into March...
