No engines available.

A friend in trade has told me there is strong rumours of no v6 engines available and no current production imminent.
Could very well explain current delivery issues.
Apparently A*** having same issues as only diesel can be ordered.
Clearly something wrong somewhere.

^^
If this is the case maybe they haven’t properly overcome the new emmissions / petrol particulate filter.

I did read that the current Audi 35 and 45 engine (I think) aren’t delivering the performance anticipated (another reason to wait a while.)

Edit, SAC1 beat me to it!

Sept 19 or 2020 was mentioned to me as much more likely as Vag group do not want any more mishaps with emissions or negativity.

Hopefully not.

Hi all,

Finally collected my new Macan S yesterday.. Loving it so far and struggling to fault. Although I have to drop it off to detailers today for a week which is going to be very difficult.. Also reading the recent info in the forum on the subject has given me some doubts, oh well.

Many congrats, John! :)

The more I see Volcano Grey, the more I think it really suits the Macan. Wishing you many miles of happy Macaneering! :D

Looks great. But a week for detailing sounds like someone is taking the p*** a little.

It’s not that the detailer is going to actually take one week, I think they said probably four days, but I am only able to drop the car off and pick up on a Saturdays so am leaving it with them for a week..
