As an ex Macan GTS Night Blue owner I can confirm it is an awesome colour for the car and suits it very well. It looks so different in different lights but always looks classy. I think Semerka also has a Night Blue turbo and would probably say much the same. The colour has real depth and character and almost went for it on my 991GW2015 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 11:33 pm
Thanks Simon.
Saw it on a 991 GTS a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved the colour, especially with the carbon exterior trim that one had. And at the weekend we saw it on a brand new 2.0T Macan and it re-confirmed that it's a great colour for the Macan......and especially if you don't want default Porsche Black/Grey

Indeed, I do echo this. I did not choose Night Blue as I bought a used approved. But now I would choose it again in a new Macan / 911, only thing I would change would be the silver bits, window surround / roof rails. The paint has got a lot of metallic specs in it, looks almost liquid.VanB wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 5:20 pm As an ex Macan GTS Night Blue owner I can confirm it is an awesome colour for the car and suits it very well. It is the most underrated colour on Macans, IMHO.

^^^ Beautiful! And I really like the silver window trims on your car, as they go nicely with the silver wheels and exhaust tips!

Another dark blue Porsche that looks good with silver window trims, IMHO...

Thank you, yes, in that respect the silver bits work here.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 1:55 pm ^^^ Beautiful! And I really like the silver window trims on your car, as they go nicely with the silver wheels and exhaust tips!

I like the black window trims on my Carrera T and I think they go with the dark grey features (wheels, mirrors, side decals, badging) and the black sport exhaust tips. But when the car is wearing its silver 'winter' wheels, I think that silver window trims would look good, not that I'm thinking of swapping those parts over twice a year!
I know that some (goron included) think that silver trims are a tad old fashioned, but in certain colours, on a car with silver wheels & silver exhaust tips etc, I think they look just the ticket!

You either need to go silver (chrome) all round or dark all round - it's the mixing and matching that doesn't work. I understand where Semerka is coming from in not being a big fan of her chrome bits but with shiny wheels, it works. Otherwise, it's a necessity to swap out the tailpipes, paint the wheel and wrap the chrome bit.
I doubt your car looks properly resolved, WingCo with silver wheels and dark trim and I would be tempted to get the winter wheels coated. Sorry

Spot on.
As we specced the Gloss Black 20" Turbo alloys (but they have some brushed silver on the spokes) the Black gloss styling pack (window surrounds) gives it a more contemporary look and then (really) requires that you go for the Black Sports tailpipes too......whereas if you don't have the Black styling pack it means sticking with the std silver (brushed) exhaust pipes is fine and irrespective of the alloys chosen.
I also went for the Gloss Black door handles to tie into the window trim, alloys and and Black sports tailpipes.
