Hi OP
Also just ordered one for the Mrs
your spec looks nice, I like white but bother my new AMG E Class and Leaf are white so couldn't have anther one!
Only comment I would make having asked my dealer is regarding the heated screen. He states it is not worth it and is nothing like as good as the Ford/JLR ones because that design is protected
New Macan S 2019 Order
Thanks everyone! I have now pretty much locked my spec to http://www.porsche-code.com/PKECCM41 I can change it up until the 15th of March but trying to be sensible and avoid ticking all the boxes
Well thought through spec amf, see you have black high gloss on window surrounds, door handles, mirrors, rear spoiler and pipes. I would definitely add same to the side blades as the standard are more of a matt/dull finish and would not complement your other choices. Just a few more £££ I will stop there .amf wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2019 5:02 am Thanks everyone! Regarding the PSE , we had the S launch in Australia 15Feb , test drove 3 days later , compared with the pre-update S it’s noticeably muted ( not just my opinion by the way ) our S,s are not being fitted with PPF due to low fuel quality in Oz (Yay), So just wondering if the Uk car will be even quieter with the PPF , Glad I optioned the PSE to my May delivery S, It’s a beautiful thing all the same
Couldn't agree more. I live in a rural area and the standard side blades are a pig to keep clean.MikeM wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2019 7:29 amWell thought through spec amf, see you have black high gloss on window surrounds, door handles, mirrors, rear spoiler and pipes. My only regret on my spec for a box not ticked!

I agree with above
I would make sure you go black painted side blades. The standard is horrible cheap looking plastic.
I would drop the heated front screen (it is apparently nowhere near as good as Ford / JLR offering due to patent)and go for the darkened front LEDs too to keep your contrast of black and white nicely
I was also told it would be worth doing psE as the filter is making the cars quieter.
When is your eta?

Your SE was talking crap. Quite a few of them do. If a heated screen had been available when I bought it would have been first on the list.

Had a heated screen on my old 2012 Skoda Yeti - brilliant piece of kit in the frosty mornings and no problems (for me) seeing the filaments etc except once or twice in really low bright sunshine (when you couldn't see anything anyway!)
