Whilst I don’t like the Macan in white I actually quite like the Macan in Crayon. Not sure why this is. I took a pic of this one in Leeds in December

These undercoat colours all look fine when highly polished and clean. On a dull day with a coat of grime they quickly loose their attraction IMO.

Although an esteemed forum contributor relentlessly asserted the same about Carmine Red, which you and I are both fans of. ;)

At least Carmine Red is actually a colour (and it looks fab in a 911 IMO). Crayon is just horrible even polished and I dread to think what it would look like under a layer of grime!

Big fan of Carmine and loved mine in the sunshine it really is a stunning colour. I don't get Crayon it looks fine when its clean in a showroom but that's it. I also love Miami and was quite keen on it when it became an option on the 718 and saw a few out and about but somehow it doesn't look right on a Macan so glad I never ordered it. Current favourite though is Voodoo (you wouldn't expect me to say anything else, would you) but obviously not a standard colour. If it was me going for an available colour it would be Carmine.

Damn, am seeing all these comments about crayon and undercoat which isn’t helping as I spec a new 992. Currently torn between crayon and GT Silver....... but GT silver is seeming so yesterday as it was available for my 997 Turbo.......

Must admit if it was a new Macan I would opt for Dolomite Silver..... my VG car is seeming a little dull now....

GT Silver is a timeless classic. Crayon I think will date very quickly.

Only one correct answer, put your hand a little deeper in your pocket and go for Carmine. GT would be my second favourite.
