The basic Porsche watch is £250 (or £220 if you haggle hard as I did).
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

If you have keyless entry, shouldn't you keep the key in a "Faraday' pouch, to stop car thieves cloning the signal that the key fob gives off ? Do these 'keyless entry' key fobs have an on/off switch, and if not, why not ?

Why can't these systems be designed, so that the key only activates when switched on. At other times no power is fed to the device from the battery cell.

You can switch the fob off ... It's buried in the manual, but I can never refind it. I believe whilst holding down the lock button you press the open...

The latest BMW key has a motion sensor and only broadcasts whilst it detects movement
