Depends if there is anything different performance and handling wise between the base coupe and the base cayenne

After test driving both a Macan S and a Base Cayenne I found you really had to work the cayenne engine and the handling wasn’t anything near as good as the Macan. Much preferred the macans PDK to the cayenne Tiptronic

There is an argument to say it’s a tubby Macan 😉 That said i’ll definitely be taking one for a test drive

Depends what your priorities are. I would rule out a Cayenne on size only. Ultimately the rules of physics cannot be defeated. An SUV the size of a Macan will be a better more responsive drive than an SUV the size of a Cayenne.

Yeah, Macan definitely the more inspiring drive and a £60k Cayenne Coupe still considerably lower specced by comparison.

Yes have to agree on all. My minimum Cayenne spec would be 68k and probably closer to 70k. For me size wouldn't be an issue as drove Touaregs for ten years before the Macan. Its just that even at 10% more it wouldn't be out of the question and a full generation newer so well worth consideration as I think its a bit more special.
