First post and first Porsche since my Boxster S in 2005!

I was so impressed after my test drive this morning I ordered at the dealer straight away. They are telling me delivery in June/July but what are the chances of that?

Porsche code is PKATCHQ9 so would appreciate feedback if anything missing which may impact resale

As you can see I configured with safety in mind as I have a young family

Congratulations! A very high spec level.

Did your dealer say anything in regard to a potential 10% price hike depending on the outcome of Brexit?

Yes they did! Bit cheeky really given no deal isn’t really an option and the likelihood of a customs union and free trade is high

Firstly, everyone will have their own views on what to add. My personal choice would be to have black rails and black window surrounds. To me the aluminium makes it look a bit dated. I have also gone for the rear tinted light bar. I have seen them in the flesh and that would be my choice. While I have also gone for Sports Chrono a lot of people have said it is hardly used, again up to you. My OPC has been very helpful in giving me their view without being pushy; I liked that. On the 10%..The OPC said that this will be applied if we have a 'no-deal' but you will be able to cancel as there are more people wanting one than allocation available. Each OPC will have an allocation and that is limited. Also, various views on Air, from my research and the majority of views, PASM is more than adequate with your 20" tyres, saving £1046.

Thanks for the feedback, I originally went for black rails and surrounds but it all looked a little bland when I saw a similar one on the forecourt

Indeed and I have the opposite view - for me the aluminium provides framing and contrast. The black on black, everything black may be a fashion thing but fashions some and go (I remember when bright yellow with a black vinyl roof was de rigueur). All that said, out of idle interest, the other night I configured an e-pace and black trim was standard and aluminium was an extra (which is the way it always was i.e. black was standard). I wonder sometimes how much our opinions are our own and how much of them are driven by the crowd.
