Just had email from my OPC telling me the only way to pay the balance is by way of bank transfer, no debit cards etc because of the cost????
Must be received two days prior to handover........"to insure a smooth experience" !!!!!!

These OPC people really are in a world of their own........and the worst part is, we let them get away with all this c**p

Possibly, but an easy cop-out for a lazy employee.......😉

(Not the card bit - he’s just wrong about that!)

I requested to see the car before I pay... the OPC was very happy to take 50% off my debit card on the day of delivery, after I saw the vehicle in metal [emoji41]
My OPC is part of Inchcape group plc, if it helps re ‘the policy’.

It is such a pity that you did not find us before you placed your order as the subject of deposits, lockdown, top up payments and balance payments and methods would certainly have been advised to you.

All these have been asked many times over the years.

The downside of finding us earlier would have been a few grand more on your build.

But things are what they are so pay up and enjoy the handover and whilst you are at it why do you not take the opportunity to push them for a few freebies as paying before collection is certainly not the normal method of paying for a new car.
