Also, what would be the affect of a change in emissions in someone choosing a pano roof or not? Or 18-ways as opposed to 14 ways?

I get the different engine sizes, possibly different exhausts, but how many genuinely different options can there be with an affect on emissions to require a re-test?

I have been told each option has had to be given a nominal weight and then for each combination the total weight of the car is calculated so that specific WLTP readings can be generated. Sounds like it is getting out of hand. We will soon be back to pack cars.

An interesting read from Fleet News ... https://www.fleetnews.co.uk/news/manufa ... nal-extras

I asked the same question and it’s all down to extra weight

or are the delays price related, Porsche looking to recover on lost sales last year or new tariffs?

Does anyone have any more info on the delay?

My MY20 Macan S is built and is currently sitting at the port.

My OPC say they are in the dark, but have told me they are expecting to receive an email on Friday from Porsche, which is supposidly going to shed some light on the issue.

They were quick to point out that the price had gone up though, and I owe them some more money......

I’ve no further info on mine (which is also now built) other than what I was previously told - that first deliveries were expected in the second half of August.

Update I got on monday:

Just a quick update to let you know that the Macan has arrived at the Emden docks and will now just await paperwork before being released to the UK

We are hopeful this could come as early as Friday but are at the mercy of other parties

Well it’s good news that there is movement so perhaps the news of delays for already built cars is not accurate

I've had an update for my OPC.

Apparently the 2020 model year Macan S is awaiting its certificate of conformity dicumentation and Porsche are holding cars at the port until this comes through.

My car has been sitting at Grimsby since 1st July.
