Fine on old models but with GPF it is restricted even more

It is certainly better (the one I had at PEC didn’t have it and ours does) but it’s maybe not quite what you might expect or hope for from a sports exhaust !

Just spent a week in a loaner base Macan with 14 way which only served to remind me how much more I prefer the 18 way in my GTS, esp in the lateral support department. But please don't take anyone's advice alone on this topic, you should drive cars with both types of seat and decide for yourself.

One relatively low priced option you might want to consider is having the rear apron body coloured. It's an option that works well with all the Macan colours apart from black and volcano grey.

Keep Bose and Sport Exhaust... you will regret it if you take it out. I am enjoying it regularly.

18” are fine, I wish I could get 19” Spyders, but these are available in 21” and I have bent enough rims on potholes(!?) to stay away from 21”

14-way seats are the sweet spot for me and my wife.

I too am a fan of the 18 ways. Did my experience day yesterday too and really liked them. This issue of having to climb over them to get into the car is non existent! So much so that i forgot about it until i just read it again on here now. Wasn't a problem at all yesterday.

Also really glad i knocked PSE off my spec. Listened to two side by side yesterday and the difference is barely noticeable! It's actually quite laughable. The standard exhaust was popping on the overrun as much as the PSE! The standard car without PSE sounds good enough from the inside too. It's not silent like everyone is making out. Yes it's no RS6, but that's not what you're buying a Macan for IMO....

1. What do you think of this spec for a Macan S? code is PLYG9VX5
2. I'm going into my local dealer tomorrow. Am I likely to be able to get a discount off this car? If so, what should I aim for?
3. Is it worth me trying round other dealers or do they all have the same rules?
4. Have had Audis for the last 20 years (currently RS6, now looking for something a bit more sensible but still with some fun) - am I going to regret jumping ship to Porsche Macan?!

Thanks

Murray
1) Have you heard a sports exhaust on a post-facelift car with particle filter? it now delivers little for a large cost. I am a fan of 18w over 14W seats, make your own decision same with Bose. having driven Macan's in different wheel sizes I think the handling improves as the size goes up and if you are concerned about ride air sus solves that. I have most of your driver's aids, Speed limit. LCA and ACC etc and use then a lot

2and 3) OPC's have historically given few discounts but times are changing, Many have the odd unsold new car in stock (look on Pistonheads) and the car market is far tighter. It could well be worth any time you have to ring round etc.

4) A post facelift Macan S is a very refined comfortable quick medium sized SUV which is great to drive. It is not a RS6 or M3 competitor but personally, I would and have chosen a Macan S
