Very nice, 77! :)

Now just waiting for someone to say you should get the 3.0 S, otherwise it’s all show and no go, especially with 21” wheels and sport tailpipes! ;)
Ha! As said before, as I have the 911 and this is more of a family car, 2.0 is fine. Actually the new one is quite nippy and happy with it at test drive.
Excellent! Couldn't recall your previous post about also owning a 911. 8-)

My Macan was a 2.0 with 21" wheels & sport tailpipes too! ;)

I only traded it in as I couldn't resist the allure of the iconic 911. :) And I'm a one-car person/household. So my 911 is now my do-everything daily driver.

Seventy Seven wrote: Fri Aug 23, 2019 7:22 pm By the way, all agreed that if tariffs rise before lock down, I have the option to walk away with my full deposit.

Gongrats on the new order, however be aware that walking away with full return of deposit before lockdown is the standard position with Porsche and available to everyone as a matter of course. Sounds like the OPC made out it was doing you a favour. Maybe worth reminding them of that and asking for the same concession post lockdown.
Yes, aware of this, thanks. However, wanted to get in writing directly from the SA. Also confirmed that once locked down, price is fixed for all parties, so should all be fine...... 🤔
That would be a first. Porsche don't fix the price until the invoice is issued to the dealership. Have the OPC agreed to absorb any changes?

I’m in a similar position re timing, the best I could get was to agree I could walk away with deposit any time even after lock down if taxes increase

They said re tariff:

We will refund your deposit should the Brexit put into effect a 10% importation tax. It is something we will review with customers should it happen and if you wish to not proceed we would honour that.

At lockdown (Nov/Dec), I will ask them to fix or potentially walk away.

Hopefully by your estimated lockdown time of Nov/Dec, things should be looking a little clearer regarding Brexit, tariffs etc...! :? :P
