Thank you, Yes its getting exciting now.

I think there are a few people on here waiting for their Turbo.
I paid my deposit on 3rd Jul. Feels like a long time ago.

I've placed an order at my local OPC but it's still being built and doesn't open until the New Year, so I'm hoping to get mine in March 2020.
At the moment I'm driving an AMG GLC63S but have always wanted a Porsche but until now my nearest dealer was 60 miles away.

Overall it's a good car.
The V8 makes a great sound (especially with the sports exhaust), goes like stink and I average 22mpg so it's good.
The ride is fair on air suspension but it makes a terrible "crabbing" sound on full lock in cold weather.
The dealer says that it's a "characteristic of the car" but it's not really appropriate for a premium brand imo.
I got it in June 18 for £80k (including 6% discount via Carwow) but it's depreciating terribly and currently only worth about £50k.
I won't be too sad to see it replaced by a Macan Turbo next spring!

Your GLC sounds like a bargain at £50k!

The crabbing (forgotten proper term) is normal amongst the four wheel drive Mercs

As for depreciation mercs seem to be some of the worst. Took a massive bath on my 2 year old AMG e class. Worst ever, left a really bad taste in my mouth

^^^

The bigger the discount / the more the manufacturer chases volume, the bigger the depreciation hit...

Supply and demand will always win.... (A level Economics....😳)
