Congrats! I recently placed an order too, but waiting until 01 March 2020.... 😳

Agree with the Heated Wheel (we have on the current RRE, which is great in the winter). Also consider Power Assiating Plus, but that can be retrofitted.

Discounts were tough. My local said nothing and was poor in coming back to me. A few further afield offered between 1.5 and 2.5%. Dealt with a really nice Sales Asst. at an OPC about an hour away, who was straight up from the outset and came up with 3%!

Interesting, that was 23 Aug. Last week, was contacted by 2 dealers (including local), who was now offering a discount... maybe orders have tighten up for the London OPCs too....
Current:
997.2 C2S, Meteor Grey, PDK (with paddles), PSE, Sports Chrono, etc.... (2009)
Macan, Volcano Grey, 21” RS Spyder Design Alloys (2020): http://www.porsche-code.com/PLVB2FZ0

Is it cheaper to retrofit Power Assisted Steering Plus?

What spec did you go for?

I assumed that ‘stain’ was a miss-spelling of ‘satin’? :?

On configurator, Power steering Plus = £185

I've had quotes from 2 OPCs for retrofitting - both above £350. interestingly, or oddly, a 3rd OPC I contacted said it couldn't be done.

So no, it is not cheaper to retrofit.
Current car : Macan GTS Gen 2

In regards to servicing Porsche. How important is it to get service done at an OPC?

The servicing is stupidly expensive! I found a porsche specialist quoting 2 year £265 and 4 year £325 which I thought was good.

As long as they use genuine Porsche parts and the correct oil etc, all should be fine.

Some say that a service book showing an independent garage & not a Porsche Centre may negatively affect the resale value...
