I have just given my 31st March 2017 SD with 32,000 miles and 9K of extras to WBAC for £30k - I have had it on autotrader and ebay for about a month and nothing but scammers

Looking at Cat5326' s location I would guess his local OPC is Swindon. If so they already have 2 VG 2017 SD's for sale and this could be a reason behind a low offer.

Neither have pano roofs. Apart from 20in wheels the 1st has a similar mileage and spec to Cat5326's and is priced at £41.5k which looks on the high side. the second is low spec, 47k mileage and priced at £36.5K, again on the high side.
WBAC is owned by British Car Auctions and they usually sell in their own auctions to trade etc so they do know the market but there is a large price for convenience. If there is any value in a high specced car's extras you will never get it from WBAC because their initial valuation does not collect the full spec.

My advice would be to buy another 2 years warranty and enjoy the car. That’s what I intend to do. By way of comparison when I swapped my 3 year old 2015 22,000 mile SD in March 2018 for a pre reg zero miles Feb 18 SD the px of my car was £37,000 and the price for the new one was £53,000 (discounted from list £60,000) . My part ex had 20” Spyders, pano rooof, leather sports seats, metallic. My new one had 21” sports classics , metallic , pano and leather comfort seats. Neither had pasm.

But times change....many early adopters (2014 / 2015 and even 2016 could swap for “nothing” as demand exceeded supply. Not any more.
I sold my first SD after 10 months / 10 K miles and lost very little....in 2016....

Thanks for the useful comments. Its my first Porsche (and new car!). I will heed wise advice and maybe try my local OPC at Swindon too.

Indeed. I sold my first SD bought in May 2014 one year later for £200 (yes £200) less than I bought it for .
