I'd watch Nick Murray's youtube video about the Taycan before you take the plunge. Might not change your mind, but it highlights some issues!

Most reviews I read reckoned the base model 4S is the best option as paying a load more but the even faster models is a bit unnecessary. The 4S seems to have got 5 star reviews on the few tests I looked at today.

I can see one of these being on my list in a few years but I thing they need to have been out a little longer before I brave it giving it time for the niggles to surface and be ironed out.

I had a good walk round to locked ones outside my OPC when I was finally having my Macan's summer wheels fitted back. Nick Murray confirms a conclusion I had come to, despite the tinted 3/4 qtr windows making it difficult to judge. There is way less room in the backs seats than the Panamera despite the size being not all that shorter. To my mind that substantially reduces the size of the market for the car.

Not sure how to break this but I am on the cusp of leaving the Macan fraternity and jumping across into the Taycan world. I was really interested in a new Macan GTS, however a very good pal of mine is a salesman at Preston OPC and happened to drop by in a Taycan. I was instantly smitten. The pics do not do them any justice at all. Anyhow to cut a long story short, the new tax rulings on electric cars for company owners makes the Taycan seem even more attractive. Has anyone configured a Taycan and if so what are the “must have” options. I’ve got a test drive booked this Friday, can’t envisage me being put off by the drive of it so it’s pretty much a done deal that I will be placing an order very soon

Saw one today in my OPC and had the same thoughts. Don't look great in the pics but stunning in the metal. Big wheels certainly required. I specced one to about £97k which has a few nice options but not going mad.

Have you looked at any figures yet, wondered how the residual values look on a PCP.

Was at the very same one today, it is a cracker. Yes, need big wheels and maybe a kit of sorts
