I'm pleased to announce we will soon completely update the forum and migrate the forum over to a new platform. I know the forum has not had any love for sometime so this is about to change!

The new platform will bring some added benefits:

New design and mobile friendly out of the box
Easier to upload photos and multiple pictures at a time from desktop and mobile
Secure with https
Integration with TapaTalk
And more features planned

All posts, topics and images will transfer over as will your user account.
Passwords will not transfer over, we will issue a new password to your registered email address once the migration has taken place, please ensure your contact details are correct within your profile.

There will be some downtime, probably a couple of days so the forum will be in read only mode for a while.

I will let you know the planned dates but I am aiming for around the 20th May.

Hope the update sorts out the issue some of us are having with showing "Search results".

Good news.
The Wing Commander is rapidly approaching 10000 posts and he is still a Colonel. Would a new rank be possible?

The current ranks appear to be Army based - hence 'Brigadier' or 'General' much more appropriate! Wing Commander would be demotion Smile
