Porsche recommend 98RON+
But it can make do with standard stuff.
Detergents/additives in 'premium' (e.g. Shell V-Power, BP Ultimate, etc) make a difference? Almost certainly, but in the short term? Probably not.

I tend toward V-Power, or BP Ultimate at a push. If I was just flipping cars every 3-6 months, I'd use whatever sludge my supermarket provides.

Now, people will tell you that supermarkets and specialist stations all use the same fuel as "it all comes from the same dinosaur" etc. If that level of ignorance comforts you, then yay! save money!
Used to have 2016 Macan Turbo PHCKCL70
Previously a 2014 Macan Turbo.

Having come from 3 cayenne’s and a Boxster in recent years I am VERY disappointed with the PCM system in my new Macan GTS. It operates erratically, it drops iPhone links, it is not user friendly, the telephone link is much worse than my 4 year Cayenne, the contacts list can only be fast scrolled by numbers not the alphabet, I could go on. Porsche need to get some electronic techs in to match their mechanical guys. I love the way the Macan drives but I really am very disappointed in the electronics.
