I hope the forum has permission to use Martin Lewis’s photo in the adverts I see popping up occasionally. I heard that he’s a bit upset with Facebook about that :?

The ad's are not controlled by me (thankfully!). We use Google to serve them. I guess whoever is advertising on Facebook is also using Google.
If you could get a screen shot and if possible a link to the site I will report the ad.

Thanks

Interesting point as to whether having no control over the ads absolves the platform from all consequences. BTW I have no idea what the Martin Lewis thing is about.

This is the article here: https://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2018 ... -facebook/

I think in part its a big publicity stunt but it does open the question about whether the advertiser, the ad serving platform or the website are responsible.

In Facebooks case, they are the ad serving platform but only serve the ad's on their own sites. I suspect they are going after them as the ad serving platform.

I don’t get those ads, my cookies must report that I have no money to save.

You don’t need money apparently. You can get rich quick by trading bitcoins. Martin Lewis says....
