That was my thinking too VanB, but why does it work the second time when exactly the same details are entered?

I don't get this issue when logging into other sites.

Simon, you say that you get the same, is that on Apple devices or Microslop?

Hi Nick.

On my iPad. When I access this site via my work laptop, there are no issues and in fact it doesn't even ask me for any passwords etc. I just get straight in by clicking a link I've saved in an email.

Cheers,
Simon

I just tick the 'Remember Me' box and don't have to worry about login until I next clean up my browser :D

That’s if you have the time to tick the “remember me” box when you login as Apple seems no longer to require you to confirm that you actually wish to login!

This is happening on my MBAir too, using the fingerprint input - always fails 1st time, works on 2nd page/attempt.

I have been using the link saved in my Safari favourites on iMac.
I have re-saved the link, after I googled the forum and logged in, and that seems to have sorted the problem for me.
Now it remembers me again. 8-)

It's not just an Apple issue. I use a Windows 10 PC as well as an iPad and Macbook, and the issue is the same on all of them. The first login screen fails, and a second pops up with the error message, In Windows that second screen is already filled in with the same details and the second attempt always works.

Not really a problem but slightly strange.
