Well it was finally decided by Porsche Connect that they were not going to cure the failing online update and I should have the dealership update by SD Card.
But the dealership has failed to find the part number anyone done this recently and know it's number?
PCM4.0 Map update SD Card part number?
Having mine done (allegedly!) on the 8th of August. If you get no joy before then I’ll try and talk directly to the tech working on my car.....

My local OPC, have said the same. Unable to find the sat nav update tech. What a performance. I just got fed up with the whole procedure. But I'm sure it shouldn't be like that.
Does this thread help.....

Yes, that confirms the map version but doesn't give the SD card part-number. I had to get customer services involved to even admit it existed!SAC1 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 10:28 pm Does this thread help.....

Well my car was booked last month for tomorrow. Only to have the service manager ring this afternoon to say they had just done their pre-service review and found they had insufficient information to book the part. 4 bloody weeks they had to organise this.
So there's a days holiday wasted.
Dear Mr M
Thank you for your email from 30 June 2019.
Unfortunately, our IT department informs us that the map update issue is known by them and they are working to find a solution, but a fast fix cannot be provided
As an alternative, we recommend you to request an update via the SD-Card by your Porsche Centre.
We apologize for the inconveniences and we appreciate your patience.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards

I've now asked them for the part number. Though why the OPC can't? They also state they've never done this sort of update before.

I believe it's this - 9P1.909.000.AL.
I'm also pressing my OPC to do the update but not booked in yet.

Thanks you're correct (now version 2). I hope I'm now booked in for the 2nd...was also dependant on the OPC having someone to invoice for this (possible 4 hour) procedure. Not sure who they've found, but given the duration of the upload failure and I renewed my subscription in March...Nuclear Nick wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 7:37 am I believe it's this - 9P1.909.000.AL.

When you tried the online update did you connect the car to your home wifi? when I did my PCM 3 on my 2016 GTS I found that was the only way to overcome download failures. It then did its update on its own which was a bit scary because PCM went down for about 5 minutes but all booted back up on its own working fine.
