I’m not buying the car because it’s a “Porsche”, I’m buying one because it’s the most highly rated small suv available. If that title was with a bmw I’d be buying a bmw.Jon A wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 12:12 pmWell certainly didn’t intend to annoy you but I respectfully disagree. You can buy an Audi. BM, Merc any number of alternatives, but none of them are a Porsche. Nobody’s buying them for their reliabilitySweetmeister wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 12:05 pmNever heard so much rubbish in all my life! Buying a 60k Macan is not a lifestyle choice, it’s a car. A car which apparently at the moment isn’t any better in the QC department than my local Vauxhall. Maybe I should change my lifestyle and go for a corsa SRI.Jon A wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 11:31 am
Buying a Porsche comes with its frustrations (as does owning one). This is more a lifestyle choice than a vehicle I think so if wavering I would think that a Porsche is not for you, and you may be better cancelling.
Sounds odd I know, but I have had to come to terms with this myself. Good luck with whatever direction you choose.
All I am saying is if you are wavering then buy something else because the whole “Porsche” bit means less to you…
Maybe it’s you that’s buying for all the wrong reasons, after all it appears you are only buying because it’s a Porsche, that’s a terrible reason to buy any car.
Just because it’s Porsche, doesn’t mean they can treat me like something they’ve stepped in, I expect excellent service whenever I buy a car,and even more so if buying a premium brand. If they fall well below my expectations, which so far they have, then I will go elsewhere . If you are prepared to put up with that because it’s a “Porsche “ then good luck to you.
