I understand that some OPC's are short of used stock and are keen to buy good examples for their forecourt (up to 7 years old and 80k miles).
Does anyone know which these are? Has anyone received an email from them?
My new Macan S is due for build in October, and so I am considering selling my existing petrol Macan S early whilst the used market is relatively strong.
Maybe I should post the details here?
Are there potential buyers lurking on this forum?
Porsche dealers requiring used stock
Called into my local OPC this week to lockdown final spec. I was there when they reopened and they then were immediately selling new and trading/selling used in considerable numbers within the first week. I asked SE if it’s slowed any now, “not a bit” he stated and then proudly told me that he also made the sale on my traded car within four days of receipt, just from a video that he took and sent out four times and never actually got to put photos up on their website . So yes, they confirmed they are still looking for good quality cars with full OPC service history. Although not so sure on 7 year 80k miles? the majority of oldest cars were around 2015 and under 50k. Notice also a considerable increase in buying and selling posts on the forum.

Are you happy to share details on your car, PM if you prefer
I’ve read the forum on and off over the last few years with a view to purchasing a Macan at some stage and I’m actively looking at a few Petrol examples for sale at the moment. I’ll put a wanted advert up shortly also. Many thanks
Sellers beware just had an experience with OPC TO PX my 2017 Macan GTS with 10200 miles and previous owner had 12k of optional extras.
I paid £51250 in February 2020 and was offered £37000 heaven knows what offer I would have had to buy in as used stok.

They want to buy but it’s as their price. Whether you find that acceptable or an insult depends on your view but it’s very unlikely an OPC will make you an offer you can’t refuse. I easily refused the derisory offer they made me which was way way below We Buy Any Car.

Solihull have chased me twice now. Up to 40k miles. I know their mark ups and see what their latest equivalent SDs' have sold for, so I'm not going down that path (again).
