New car teething problems

Hmmm!
After long hard persuasive discussions with HWMBO on this purchase, she took the Macan out on her own for her Golf Club's away day.
10 minutes down the road the interior mirror dropped off!
Needless to say she is not impressed.

Had to return and quickly switch cars and going to be late for her tee time.

Shame as so far she has been positive about the purchase.

I cannot fathom how the mirror clips back on to the mounting, has anyone else had this happen and can advise how to refit it, or is it a trip to the dealer?

Found a link on the US forum to reattach. Apparently it's not an uncommon occurrence on all Porsche, VW and Audi mirrors.

Ps good to see you have a spoilt pooch too but slightly concerned to see the Mrs doesn’t have her own car !
