No, not the usual clunk but an extra dull clunk as a secondary sound when the door closes suggesting something large/heavy is loos within the door. I know it can;t be heavy but that is how it sounds. Could the internal door pull cable make this sort of noise if it is loose/not damped.
Just started recently.
Thoughts?
Sorry, I can't turn the radio up. It only does it when closing the door..........
If it was an ancient banger it could be the window loose in the door. It is that sort of noise. Its not the window it is firm. The sound is the same window up, down or middle and all positions in between
Clunk on shutting front door
??

I recall there is a emergency tool of some sort hidden in the door trim? Someone previously had a rattle and the tool had come loose.
I just reread TFM and couldn’t find it but perhaps someone remembers (or I just got that wrong!)

When you shut the drivers door there will be a dull rattle like there might be something loose in the door pocket. If it's the same as mine its a cable inside the door trim that has come out of its clip and causes the noise. I had this on my previous Macan and now have it on my current one. Mine is going in on Thursday to be rectified. I was told it's a common problem as they knew what the issue was straight away when I described it to the Service Manager over the phone.

I had a rattle on mine when closing the front doors with a bit of force. Definitely sounded like a cable had come loose.
Was repaired by OPC under warranty. They weren't very specific about what they did but it did involve removing the door cards. Word of caution, if you have full leather tell the OPC to be very careful when removing the trim at the top of the doors to access the screws. The technician working on my car stuck a screwdriver all around the trim to loosen it - left some nasty indentations in the leather which required both cards being completely replaced (at their expense!)
