Sounds like you've had a bit of a result there. Content yourself that the repaint pleases you and pocket the the extra PX money.

And it’s already in your signature, so you’ll have to keep it now 😉 which one are you going to PX. Not the dogs ‼️🐶😳

🤣🤣🤣 Hadn't thought of that when I updated my signature.
PX is the wife's BMW M135i.
Can't let my other toys go can I!

I have Glacier white pearlescent on my F-Type and agree it's the easiest colour I have ever had to maintain, hope the Carrara white is the same. One reason I couldn't have gone black even if it looks superb on a GTS, was how difficult a colour it is to maintain and avoid swirls.

JurassicMacan wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 8:55 am Do forum members think that supply of 2017/18 cars may improve in the Spring and prices come down a little?
If there are no/few deliveries between late December and April as suggested elsewhere on the forum, newly new cars will increase in value. That happened between when I first started to look for a Macan having missed the Gen1 last order date around May /June 2018 and Gen2 first deliveries of early 2019. In practice, I think if a had bought a 2016 /7 Macan in Late 2018 it would have now suffered the same depreciation as my bought new 2019 Macan S.
Over the last two week, I have noticed an increase in the no of forum members and others selling cars because there are using a vehicle less or in a different manner since the pandemic. This must have an effect on prices suppressing them in the short term and medium to long term unless they return to the pre-pandemic use of cars

I sold mine this week because I had simply stopped using it. Being retired, for me the pandemic has stopped all the holiday/fun trips for which I had planned to use the car. In the last year I had done 2400 miles, most of which was a trip to Bavaria last October. The final decider was that used prices are so strong at the moment; even the quotes from WBAC have gone up over the past couple of months (not that I used them).

Carrara white looks stunning on my Boxster T as it contrasts nicely with the grey or black exterior elements.
