Mine are a nightmare to keep clean on my black 2017 SD.
Anyone got some good ideas that might help?
Loving driving the car btw.
Side Blades
The dimpled side blades are dirt magnets. On my previous SD I used a small round soft brush (kitchen washing up brush type). Plenty of soapy car wash and gentle scrubbing action. Rinse off.......repeat needed every mucky trip though!
The smooth ones on my GTS clean as easily as the bodywork.

When washed and dried, mine dry to a light brown haze. Solved by spraying with Back to Black and a soft cloth. Bonkers design to put dimples on them.

Mine are part of the Sport Design pack and are body coloured, same finish. I always thought the dimpled matt look was a daft idea. Probably deliberate though to persuade mugs like me to pony up £2.5k on the Design pack.

Or to persude less rich mugs to pay £404 for "Sideblades painted in exterior colour"

This is the part I least like about my car. Why someone specifying a £70k car left the side blades standard I will never know. Still, I shouldn't complain as they ticked most other options.
