Hi all
I expect to pick up my Macan S by the end of this month. I have a young springer spaniel and wondering what other Macan owners have done to protect their vehicle from scratches and other potential dog damage.
I have ordered a high load carrier protection unit but now wondering about mats and sill protection etc.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks in advance.

Check out the thread,,,Show me your dogs

I have transferred my rubber matting from my SQ5 and bought an RGM sill protector for £75 which fits perfectly and stops all scratches (had one n my SQ5 and it stood the test of time)...all you need I think. Boot Buddy do some great products too.

Not got one for my Macan just yet but have had them on a couple of previous cars

They are perfectly tailored to the loadspace and you can spec extras such as loading flaps to protect the bumper.

Not the cheapest solution but highly recommended

Hatchbag are excellent and had them for every car I used for carrying dogs. Very strong PVC type
Material so the dogs don’t rip it and perfectly tailored to fit every nook and crevice. Excellent products and you can get a bumper protector which rolls in and out for when the dog is getting In or out.

Didn’t have one for my Macan though as there was no way the dogs were getting near it no matter what protectors were fitted.

We bought a whole new car so our retriever barely goes in the Macan.

When she does, we have the high sided manufacturer liner

I have just ordered the Titan Covers load area protection that others have recommended off A, specifically for the Macan.
Titan's website over £120 through A £59.

We use a Songmics dog carrying crate for our English working cocker spaniel who weighs in at c.18kg I put an old 'removals' blanket underneath which then drops down over the rear cill so he can jump in/out without touching the paintwork or the boot carpet etc.... leaves enough room alongside for all our walking gear, boots etc..

Bought the dog carrier from Amazon a couple of years ago for £32.00 and is v.good quality and sturdy, we went for a 70x52x52 size but they do make two larger versions if needed, link below.

Hope that helps

Robbie
