Er thanks, think I would rather keep my car and not have my insurance premiums screwed for the next 5 years.

Bought a disklok yesterday
If you didn’t know already, Disklok do a fabric cover that slips over the steering wheel to protect it before you fit the device.

I wouldnt bother. If they want it they will have it. As long as you have not specced comfort stealing it is pretty secure anyway. Just park beside a Range Rover

If they're committed enough to get into the car they're committed enough to get a diskloc off.

Unlikely to take your Macan. It's a popular car, but not one popular to steal.

I wouldn't bother with any sort of steering wheel lock - far too much effort every time you park. If people want to steal the car, they'll steal it. My Macan just sits outside on the drive with the other cars, they're all insured. And I speak as someone who's had a BMW 7-series nicked off the drive in the night!

Stop lock is fine if used properly, you bridge the lock over the wheel spoke so it’s not quite as easy as cutting the steering wheel as the uniformed state, disclocks are the next level up , only downside is storage, guarantee you will damage your interior trim at some point manhandling the thing.
