Have just heard scumbags have sneaked into the underground car park and were taking pictures of certain cars, one of which was ours.

Can someone recommend a good steering lock for the Macan please

Can't help with recommendation but a good visual deterrent

Would highly recommend a tracker too. I've used Coban 303G in various forms can be bought for circa £30 and a £10 SIM lasts a couple of years

Looks like the Pro £43 and Pro Elite £49 fit the Macan, is the elite worth the small extra?

Disklok are great, my son had one for his car in Middlesborough, plenty of other cars got nicked in his Uni car park, but they left his alone. They get some very good reviews, but not the cheapest.

Are Stoplocks still worth it? Don't they just cut the steering wheel and remove them? Replacement cost for a steering wheel is nothing vs a free car.

I don’t know, that is why I ask.

Never bought one before, sounds like disklok is the way to go then

I'd honestly let them have it than go back to the 90s and faff about with wheel locks etc. GAP payout = new car.

They’re unlikely to touch one with a Disklok, but they love the hockey stick type as it gives them all the leverage they need to break the steering column lock. They then cut through the steering wheel rim and it’s off in seconds.

Er thanks, think I would rather keep my car and not have my insurance premiums screwed for the next 5 years.

Bought a disklok yesterday
