Just coming up to 37k miles in my Macan diesel so was thinking of getting the 40k service done.

The brake warning light has just come on (yesterday) so needs pads too, I'm assuming this will be just front pads?

Thinking of using RPM Technik in Long Marston, anyone here used these guys before?

They have a great reputation and are obviously Porsche specialists, especially when it comes to 911s. I've never used them myself though.

Is your car under an extended warranty from Porsche? If so, you have to get it serviced at a main dealer.

RPM Technik had a fantastic reputation though, so I'd be inclined to ask them for a quote to do the brakes if you do end up using a main dealer for the service.

No I was never offered an extended warrantee, my Macan was 3 years old in June.

Funny you should say that...coincidentally, last night I was watching some YouTube vids RPM have done with my cousin chatting about the exhaust systems his company design and advising Tim Harvey on which exhaust combination to go for on his gt3.

That’s one of them - he now has gt3 RS.

He is often at days that I’m at.

He of course one the carrera cup so knows one or two things about 911s

Yes, I'm not sure if his rs has a JCR exhaust yet. If not I'm sure it will soon as they are doing some great stuff.

RPM are also one of only a few UK specialists who do Manthey racing parts and fitment so they must have some seriously qualified guys there. If I was looking for an indi to work on my Porsche then I would certainly be looking at RPM or Ninemeister (who are alot closer to me).

I know that RPM Technik were recommended to me by Iain Litchfield of Litchfield Motors as a possible company to buy my T if/when I look to move on. They have previously sold a Miami Blue Litchfield-fettled Carrera T.

I bought a mint Macan S from them in Oct 2019, definitely a well set up outfit. They will happily show you their workshops and how they work.
