My 2016 Diesel S is due for a set of new tyres, it presently has Pirelli, have been told Michelin Latitude Sport might be better has anyone any experience of the Michelin.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I got 21k miles out of the Pirelli P-Zero tyres the car came with. I fitted Michelin Latitude Sports but had only covered 7k miles when I sold the car. Grip and noise levels were fine but I can't help you on mileage.

Did 18,000 miles on that pattern Michelin with my SD and were O.E.

Good all round tyre, if you'll excuse the pun! Quiet, comfortable, good grip in the wet and great braking performance. They suit the Macan well.

Think I must be driving a bit more sedately, got nearly 30k out of my Pirelli's. They were OE, and on the occasions I needed the grip, they were pretty damn good. Replaced with same this year. Can't comment on other makes. Mines an SD too.

My car came with Michelin Latitude Sport tyres, they were fine and lasted 22K miles. I replaced with the same.

I'm pleased with my Goodyear LS2 All Season (M&S) N0. They are N0, so fine if you have a warranty. They are the only all season tyres that were N0 that I could find. I'm surrounded by mud here at this time of year, and they work well. The car is on the second set, with lots of tread left, and it has done 91 000 miles. But I can't say I've stressed them too much on the bends...

Some of the tyre chains still show Michelin Latitude Tour HP N approved in stock. They were one of the tyres Porsche supplied when the all-season option was available from new although like with the Goodyear LS2 the sites list them these days as a summer tyre as they both lack the snowflake symbol to Meet EU winter tyre standard. A lot of the Michelin Latitude high mileages on the forum lists over the years have been Tour Hp's often higher than obtained on Sports

Both brands are very good indeed, had Pirelli’s P Zero’s as standard on 3 cars and no issues, although some past comments made by members are that the Michelin’s by comparison give a longer life. I certainly didn’t achieve the example mileages for Michelin’s being quoted when using P Zero tyres 😈🙄 So certainly worth considering.
