Another Transfer Box bites the dust

I remember reading on here that the transfer box is covered by a 7 year warranty in the uk. Is this correct?

If you check your VIN data sheet it will show you. It should be 7 years.

I got the car just under a year old from OPC. Not sure if I got a VIN data sheet...what does it look like?!

Andy, this is the data sheet, ask your OPC for a copy of yours if you don't have it.

Just looking at the sheet...it has the extended 7 year warranty for the transfer box under 'new vehicle warranty' and nothing under 'pre owned'. As mine is pre owned, does that mean the transfer box warranty isn't extended to 7 years? I might be missing something but it doesn't appear very clear to me

You bought from an OPC so no reason why it wouldn't be covered.
