Apart from the colour, the biggest dilema I face is whether to spec the sunroof and I simply cannot decide whether I need to. My preference is to go without, I won't open it, I don't want the leaks and I'd prefer the race-tex headlining.
Nearly every picture, video I see has the sunroof!
Is there any one on here that doesn't have it? And did you regret it?
Sunroof or no sunroof?

We have three cars in the house hold, all have pano roof. My last three BMW’s had pano roof too. I personally would not buy without.
June 2017 Macan GTS in Carmine red with 21” gloss black sport classics, GTS leather package, Air, PASM, PDLS+, pano roof, Sports Chrono, 18 way seats, BOSE, surround view, heated seats front and rear, carbon side blades and carbon interior package.
Agree. Two Macans and previous three Mercedes all with pano roofs. Extra light, fresh air without drafts *tilt* and fully opening for summer sunshine. Fabulous.
You can have the shade fully closed if you want the sun shielded or insulated from really cold weather.
Never had a problem with water ingress with any of them. Never garaged; all parked in the open air.....but never under trees either.

Pros and cons. Have had bad water leaks on an Audi due to the sunroof. But I wouldn't have an all-black interior without a roof as the cabin is far too gloomy. Plus when I carry things including bikes on the roof I like being able to look up and check they are secure

Have to spec the roof, gives more light and on occasion when the weathers nice good option. And of course cars without pano roof harder to sell on the used market.

Like others have had them on my BMWs/Audi/Merc since 2005 and wouldn’t be without now.
I do open them occasionally but for me it is more about letting the light in, particularly on dark interior car.
My OPC exec said it was better for resale too and he doesn’t get anymore for the value of the car he sells

I didn’t order the pano roof and have no regrets about the choice.
- Saved over £1000
- No worries about water leaks
- Maximum headroom inside
- If I did have the roof I would have found the bright light coming through the glass to be distracting
- Don’t care about resale – I specced the car for me, today.
