I know there must be a topic on this somewhere, my GTS is 3 years old in April and I was wondering how much a 24 month extended warranty would be, has anyone had a recent quote for this ?

I just had mine done at OPC Portsmouth for my 2017 Macan GTS. 2 year extended warranty was £1520, the 111 point check was £216. £1736 all in, so around £70 per month over the next two years when you average it out. Quite good compared to, say, Audi or Aston Martin.
Many thanks, all the information was helpful, spoke to my OPC now and managed to sort a priceCounter Of Beans wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 1:34 pm I just had mine done at OPC Portsmouth for my 2017 Macan GTS. 2 year extended warranty was £1520, the 111 point check was £216. £1736 all in, so around £70 per month over the next two years when you average it out. I'm sure I read the 111 point check was no longer required? Did you guys extend from a lapsed or an active warranty?
I've just been on the phone to extend mine for another 2 years.
Macan SD £1,715 for 2 years including breakdown cover. No inspection needed at present providing it's currently under warranty, been serviced by the OPC, and there's no outstanding recalls. Very pleased, just saved me over £200.

1 years £800
2 years £1,440
3 years £2,160
Plus £285-00 for Assistance Breakdown, I'm with NFU Insurance who provide RAC breakdown cover as part of their policy so I have no need for that, no inspection fee. I'm going for the 2 year as I don't intend keeping the car any longer than that, that works out at just under £2-00 per day for 2 years which is good in my view for peace of mind, I did check on the transfer box and it has a warranty until 2025 (7 year), been looking at tyres as I am getting close to the mark, Kwik Fit will currently fit a set of 20" Michelin Lattitude Sport 3 for £791-00, did look at changing but I've only done 5,000 miles in the last 12 months so listened to my head and though couldn't justify the monies to change, the car currently sits on 25,500 miles

I have just receive a letter reminding me that my warranty expires in October. Warranty costs compare with other manufacturers I guess but I have searched roadside assistance and I got a quote from green flag of £44 for a year which includes call outs at home and onward journeys. I can’t see what benefit there is from having the Porsche Assistance. Has anyone any experience of green flag? I noticed that Porsche are cheaper than the AA by the way.

If you are only driving in the UK then I would probably just go for Green Flag. In fact if you go for an excess each call out of £40 the price may come down quite a bit....or it did on my other car when I took out GF.
If you are doing continental jaunts then I would stay with Porsche.
