2017 Macan 3.0 S Diesel. My engine light came on yesterday and ‘Permission to Drive’ also came up on the dash (relief, I was miles from home!). I called in for a diagnostic check at my local garage and P229E NOx Sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2 fault code came up (see pic). I found quite a good site which explained about NOx sensors etc and the varying costs to sort the problem out depending on whether you diy. Apparently the sensors are only good for 50-60000 miles, I’m on 52K so this ties in with what it said. The site wasn’t Macan specific so has anyone had any experience with this code and fixing? Also, am I doing the car any harm driving it as it is? Does anyone know where the sensor is located? Cheers all, thanks for any help
